What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) gives people with a disability greater choice and control over the support they receive. It gives eligible people support to take part in everyday life with funding based on their personal needs, goals and aspirations.

Your eligibility for the NDIS will depend on factors such as your location, age, and whether you meet the requirements for disability or early intervention support. You can check your NDIS eligibility by using the NDIS Access Checklist.

What is the Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI)?

Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) is an NDIS-funded approach for children under 7 years of age who have a diagnosed disability or developmental delay. The NDIS has engaged Early Childhood Partners around Australia to deliver the ECEI approach. You can contact an Early Childhood Partner if concerns about your child’s development have been identified. Find an Early Childhood Partner.
