Our story
Discover our story, our name, its meaning, our values and why Windaan is important to the Aboriginal community.
Our strength
Windaan adopts a model that involves working closely with Aboriginal families and local partner organisations, such as Aboriginal medical services, to identify services and pathways to complement the strengths already within that community.
Who can access our services?
We are an all-inclusive provider, anyone can access our services. We work closely with both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people, from 0-65 years of age, all across Australia thanks to our telehealth technology.
Don’t take our word for it
We’re proud of the difference we make to our client’s lives. Here’s what some of them have to say about us.
Why choose us
✔ Culturally appropriateAll of our services are delivered according an established and proven cultural care model pioneered by Galambila Aboriginal Health Service.
✔ Mobile service delivery
Windaan services are essentially mobile in nature. We specialise in providing primary health, allied health, early intervention and NDIS disability services within Aboriginal communities themselves, where you feel most comfortable.
✔ Technological innovation
Access a wide range of primary health and allied health therapy-based services, such as speech therapy, occupational therapy and more. This technology provides us with the unique opportunity to bring the services to the community, rather than expecting the community to come to us.
Our finger is on the pulse of the nation
