Giinagay and Welcome to Windaan, a new and innovative service that’s focused on developing culturally appropriate pathways for Aboriginal children and their families to access quality early childhood intervention, allied health, primary health and disability services.
Windaan combines the best of traditional face-to-face services with innovative use of technology, like social media and telehealth technology. This unique blend ensures that Windaan is well positioned to provide Aboriginal children and families that live in remote, regional or interstate locations access to a range of quality services not otherwise available within their communities.
Calling for expression of interest
We’re now taking expressions of interest for school holiday group programs and activities. Our programs are suitable for children aged 5-15 years who need a little extra support getting involved, making friends and becoming more independent. We find culturally appropriate activities everyone can enjoy! Join us for fund day trips and activities like:
- Beach day trips
- Fishing trips
- Golf driving range
- Bush walk adventure
- Sporting events

Windaan adopts a model that involves working closely with Aboriginal families and local partner organisations, such as Aboriginal medical services, to identify services and pathways to complement the strengths already within that community.
Who can access our services?
We are an all-inclusive provider, anyone can access our services. We work closely with both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people, from 0-65 years of age, all across Australia thanks to our telehealth technology.
